That means 0,40 violations per 100,000 inhabitants (40 per 1000). &nbsp;The most frequently violated right was the right to proceeding without unreasonable delay. 11 out of 22 violations concerned length of proceeding, 1 violation concerned lack of effective investigation, 3 violations concerned the right to liberty and security, 3 violations concerned the right to fair trial, 3 violations concerned right to respect private life and 1 violation concerned freedom of expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EU had 446,947,712 inhabitants and there were 340 violations.
