The alternative report was prepared in accordance with Art. 23 (1) and Art. 27 (2) of the European Social Charter for the review of the European Committee of Social Rights, which decides whether the national situations comply with the Charter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The Government of the Slovak Republic submitted its 12th <a href=\"https:\/\/rm.coe.int\/rap-rcha-svk-12-2022\/1680a64b7e\">National Report<\/a> to the European Committee of Social Rights on 02 February 2022. As part of the current reporting cycle, the state submitted information on the provisions relating to thematic group 3 on labour rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a\u00a0national human rights institution, we welcomed the opportunity to provide the Committee with information on the implementation of the selected provisions of the Charter and to reflect on the 12th National Report of the Slovak Republic. Our alternative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snslp.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/European-Social-Charter-Submission_SNCHR_2022.pdf\">report<\/a> (pdf, 759 KB) focuses on previous conclusions of the European Committee of Social Rights and implementation of selected provisions by the Slovak Republic &#8211; the right to a fair remuneration \u2013 Article 4 (3); the right to dignity at work \u2013 Article 26; and the right to information and consultation in collective redundancy procedures &#8211; Article 29.
